Guesthouse

Aarhus University Guesthouse can offer 10 newly refurbished and comfortable guest rooms with access to bathroom, kitchen and living room facilities. It has a relaxed and homely atmosphere. The guesthouse welcomes visitors to the University of Aarhus or those with an affiliation to the university.

The attractive and spacious guest rooms are each equipped with a bed, chair, desk and wardrobe. Bed linen and towels are included. Beds are made and rooms cleaned each day from Monday to Friday.

The guesthouse is situated in the northern part of town, 2.5 km from downtown Århus and within walking distance of the rest of the university as well as the municipal hospital. City bus stops are just around the corner.

Communal Facilities
Aarhus University Guesthouse features a communal kitchen-diner equipped with all mod-cons such as cooker, microwave, fridge and other necessities.  Each floor also has a small kitchen for making tea, coffee etc.
The spacious living room offers a hi-fi system and a TV with international channels. 

Breakfast
Meals are not included. The following canteens are open for you to buy your meals:
The canteen at the Nobelpark is situated 5 minutes walk from the Guesthouse, and the canteen "Stakladen" is 10 minutes walk.

These two canteens are open Monday to Thursday from 8.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. Fridays from 8.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
For Christmas and New Year the canteens are closed. In the month of July the canteen at the Nobelpark is closed, and "Stakladen" is open from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

Check-in Time
The staff are not present outside office hours. You will be informed about access procedures upon reservation.

You can check in from 3.00 p.m. onwards. Please check out by 10.00 a.m at the latest. 

The Guesthouse staff is normally not to find at the Guesthouse.

Prices and Reservation per 1st of January 2011
Single room: dkr. 360,- per night
(more than 14 nights - dkr. 260,- per night from night no. 15)
Double room: dkr. 500,- per night
(more than 14 nights - dkr. 375,- per night from night no. 15)
